Junior Chowder Cup

Now Accepting Applications for 2008 & 2009 Teams!

Omega Hockey will be participating in the 2024 Junior Chowder Cup held in Boston, MA. This tournament is for 2008 and 2009 birth years. Our teams are lead by professional coaches who are dedicated to developing players and pushing them to be their best. Our coaches are USA Hockey & SafeSport certified along with passing a background check.

For quality purposes and ample playing time, we only plan on fielding one team at each level with up to 10 forwards, 7 defensemen and 2 goalies. We will only have one 2008 team and one 2009 team. 

The Junior Chowder Cup is the premier summer tournament that attracts top talent from across the U.S. and Canada. This event is heavily attended by coaches from the NCAA, various junior leagues, prep schools and full season AAA programs. Each team is guaranteed 3 games with possibility of playing up to 3 additional playoff games (6 total). We will hold a practice on Wednesday night (7/24) for each team.

The application to be considered is below. If selected, we will contact you within 48 hours of your submission with registration information. Spots must be secured within 24 hours after the offer. Our teams typically fill by early February. Cost includes practice & tournament fees.

TRAVEL NOTES: 

• Practices are Wednesday, July 24th at the Canton Sportsplex from 6:00-6:50 PM (2008) & 7:00-7:50 PM (2009)
• Games can start as early as 7 AM on Thursday, July 25th and end as late as 6 PM on Sunday, July 28th. 
• We recommend booking flexible tickets and/or arriving Wednesday and departing Monday.
• This is a stay and play event for non-local players. Hotel booking information will be provided by the tournament and sent out to our players later in the spring.
