Senior Chowder Cup

Now Accepting Applications for our College Open Teams!

Omega Hockey will be participating in the 2024 Senior Chowder Cup held in Boston, MA. We will be entering up to two teams in the College Open Division. This is for 2006-2007 birth years. For quality purposes and ample playing time, we will only have a roster of 9 forwards, 6 defensemen and 2 goalies. 

The Senior Chowder Cup is the premier summer tournament that attracts top talent from across the U.S. and Canada. This event is heavily attended by over 250 coaches and scouts from the NCAA, various junior leagues, prep schools and full season AAA programs. Each team is guaranteed 3 games with possibility of playing up to 3 additional playoff games (6 total). 

The application to be considered is below. If selected, we will contact you within 48 hours of your submission with registration information. Spots must be secured within 24 hours after the offer. Our teams typically fill by early February.

TRAVEL NOTES: 

• Games can start as early as 7 AM on Thursday, July 18th and end as late as 6 PM on Sunday, July 21st. 
• We recommend booking flexible tickets and/or arriving Wednesday and departing Monday.
• This is a stay and play event. Hotel booking information will be provided by the tournament and sent out to our players later in the spring. 

Director & Coach - Cory Hunt

As the President of Omega Hockey, Cory brings over a decade of expertise as a coach, scout, and General Manager, with a rich background that spans various levels of hockey, including the NAHL. Cory spends his day-to-day helping student-athletes develop on the ice and guide them through the journey of midget, junior and college hockey. In addition to the Omega summer teams, Cory also serves as the President for the Chippewa Steel in the NAHL.
